Argentina Exchange Opportunity for High School Students
Diane Mikolyzk, coordinator of the PTP Sheboygan-Córdoba student exchange program, is currently seeking high school students to participate in our six-month exchange program during the 2016-2017 school year. Candidates should currently be Sophomores or Juniors studying Spanish and would participate in the program during either the Junior or Senior year of high school. US students would travel to Argentina in July of 2016, and would study in Córdoba during the first semester. The Argentine students would arrive here in late January of 2017, and would return to Argentina in the summer. Further information and applications for the program are available at the People to People website (www.ptpsheboygan.org). Applications for the coming year will be accepted through December 10, 2015.
In addition, we are seeking a host family for an Argentine boy who would arrive in late January of this year. The host family does not need to have a student interested in going to Argentina, but participating in the exchange this coming summer/fall is also a possibility should your family decide to host this young man. If you or your family might be interested in this opportunity, please contact Diane Mikolyzk (920.781-5075) as soon as possible.
