Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Wednesday, December 11 from 4pm - 8pm. Conferences will be held in the classrooms, so please stop in the Office to pick up your student's progress grades.

It's that time of year again...Time to plan "Pause for a Cause." The big event will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Committees are forming to plan the Food, Activities, Advertising, Desserts and Silent Auction. Please consider helping organize this worthy cause and sign up in the office today! If you have any questions, see Mrs. Biederwolf.
Members please remember you need to have your gifts here on Tuesday, December 10th. We will meet during advisement that day to wrap gifts and organize them for delivery. If you did not pick up a slip this morning and would still like to help a family in need this holiday season please see Mrs. Hager ASAP!
Lakeshore Driftbusters Youth Snowmobile Club Meeting
Lakeshore Driftbusters Youth Snowmobile Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 7:00pm in the High School Library. Anyone interested in the sport of snowmobiling should attend this meeting.

There will be a meeting in Room B190 during Advisement on Tuesday, December 10. Be ready to commit to a competitive event as registrations are due by December 13. Remember that we have concessions on Thursday, December 12.

Wisconsin Leadership Seminars is holding a three day leadership program for Sophomores interested in developing their leadership potential. This program will run from June 13th through 15th on the UW-Whitewater campus. Interested students should submit a short narrative on how this opportunity will benefit them in their future, along with a list of activities that they are currently involved in at school and in our community.
Due date to the Guidance Office is December 20th, 2013.

FFA - Harvest for the Hungry
The FFA along with the NHS & Student Council is once again hosting the Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive. Bring in non-perishable food items starting Dec 4 to benefit local families in need. The food drive will run until Dec 18. Put your food in the barrels located around the school.
Sophomores and Juniors
Youth Apprenticeship Information Night at LTC-Cleveland Campus has been scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2014 and Monday, January 27, 2014. Explore a future career while still in high school and get paid for working at an area employer. Kids for Katelyn
Student Council will be selling bracelets during both lunches to support Mrs. Houston and her daughter Katelyn. Bracelets are $1, please show your support. All proceeds will go to Mrs. Houston and Katelyn.
Kids for Katelyn Dance
Student Council will be sponsoring a Holiday Sweater Dance (Holiday Sweaters are not required) on Saturday, December 7th from 7pm-11pm at the High School. The cost will be $5 at the door. Please bring additional cash with you for the chance to win prizes throughout the night. Concessions will also be available. All proceeds will be donated to Katelyn and Mrs. Houston.
Sounds of the Season Concert
The Howards Grove High School Music Department presents “Sounds of the Season” featuring traditional holiday classics on December 15, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Stephanie H. Weill Center in Sheboygan.
Five bands and choirs will display the musical talent of the program. The culminating piece features 200 plus students to send you off in a holiday mood. Third Grade Students at Northview Elementary and select Middle School Band students will also join in the performance. “No Repeats” provides pre-concert entertainment.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for those age three and under. Tickets go on sale in school offices November 13th and are also available at the door.
