Girls Basketball Banquet
The Girls Basketball Banquet will be Tuesday, March 18th at 6:30pm at Bummy’s. Cost is $13.00 per person. Please sign up and pay in the high school office by Friday, 3/14.
Anyone interested in playing Golf this Spring should plan to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 12 at 2:45pm in the library.
Market Day help needed
Help is needed on Tuesday, March 11, to unload the Market Day truck. It takes an hour or less, and takes place at the middle school from 3:00-4:00pm. If any student or community member is available to help out, please call the school office.
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
The UW-Madison School of Pharmacy will be hosting the annual High School Discovery Day on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Discovery Day is a day-long program designed for high school Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors interested in learning about the School of Pharmacy and pharmacy career options.
Advance registration is required for all attendees (students, parents, or guests).
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT DEADLINE: Friday, March 28, 2014
If you are unable to attend this event, we have an advisor who meets with high school students regularly. Please contact our office at (608) 262-6234 to schedule a meeting time. More information is available in the Guidance Office.
There will be a parent/player meeting for all girls interested in playing varsity Soccer on Tuesday, March 11, 6:00pm in the High School library. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mr. Fischer.
Tennis player/parent meeting
There will be a player/parent meeting for all athletes interested in playing Tennis Wednesday, March 12 in the high school library at 5:00pm. See Coach Hill if you have any questions.
There will be a semi-formal dance held by the International Club on Friday, March 14 from 8pm-11pm in the High School Commons. Tickets are $5.00 each and will be sold during lunch starting Monday, March 10.
Summer employment at Kohler-Andrae State Park
Kohler-Andrae State Park is now accepting job applications for the upcoming season. Vacancies include: Visitor Services Associate and Laborer positions. Applicants must be a resident of the State of Wisconsin upon appointment, must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license with at least two years driving experience. Most positions require full-time work from May and early June through Labor Day weekend. Some part-time and weekend work is available in early spring and fall.
Employment applications, pay rate and position description information for the Visitor Services Associate and Laborer positions are available at the Kohler-Andrae State Park office or http://dnr.wi.gov/employment/emp/lte.html. Another Pause reminder: Sign up by Friday, March 14 to participate in the 2nd annual 5K Run/Walk. Registration forms are available in the high school office. The cost is $20, which includes a tshirt with a special 5K back design.
