The band "KARMAH"
Have you heard! The band KARMAH will be performing at the Meyer Theater's Talent Jam 2014 in Green Bay on Saturday November 1st at 7:00pm. KARMAH will be performing their original “Black Label”, a song they wrote about a Motorcyclist’s thoughts and feelings as they ride the highways and byways alone. The band hails from Cleveland WI. All high school sophomores, Elle Kaderabek, Drums from Howards Grove High school and from Sheboygan North, Mimi Viglietti, Vocals, Alyssa Levenhagen, Bass Guitar, Mark Eckelaert, Rhythm Guitar, and Alex Schulze, Lead Guitar. KARMAH is a thrill to watch, they have performed at Summerfest, John Michael Kohler Art Center and October-fest. Audience vote determines the winner of $1000.00 cash prize, its sure to be an entertaining and exciting show, you don't want to miss it.
Bummy’s Haus - Tuesday, November 4 at 7:00pm. Cost is $11.50 per person. All players and parents are encouraged to attend. Pay the High School Office by Tuesday.
Junior year is when the Air Force Academy scholarship application process begins. Students must submit their Pre-Candidate Questionnaire online https://admissions.usafa.edu between March 1 of their Junior year and December 21 of their Senior year. Come see the musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at the Kohler HS Memorial Theatre. Show dates and times are: Thursday Nov 6, Friday Nov 7 and Saturday, Nov 8 at 7pm. Sunday Nov 9 the show is at 2pm. Tickets are available at the Howards Grove High School Office and are $6. in advance or $8 at the door. Hope to see you there!

Cross Country - Statebound!
On Saturday morning, the Howards Grove Cross Country team competed in the eighteen team WIAA Division 3 Sectional Meet. With a trip to the State Meet on the line, your Howards Grove Tigers ran with heart, desire, and determination. The kind of stuff champions are made from. The top two teams advance to state competition, with the five fastest runners not part of a qualifying team also advancing as individuals.
Helping lead the Tiger ladies to a 2nd place team finish, and trip to the State Meet, were:

On Monday, November 3rd there will be a Wrestling information meeting in Coach Schmid's room during Advisement. Coach Ward will be present to hand out season information.
The varsity Football banquet will be held on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00 pm at Bummy's Haus. The cost is $12.50 per person. Please pay in the High School Office as soon as possible.
High School Dance Team Fundraiser
On Monday, November 3 the High School Dance Team will be having a fundraiser at the Sheboygan Pizza Ranch. Come between 4:30pm and 9pm to enjoy the buffet and help support the Dance Team!
Kiwanis Clothing Exchange
On Saturday, November 8 from 9am-11am, the Kiwanis Club will be hosting their 22nd annual clothing exchange. Infant to adult warm clothing will be available. There is no cost for the clothing. FFA Fruit Sale
The annual FFA fruit sale has begun! We have oranges, apples, grapefruit, pears, pineapple and mixed boxes. We also have beefsticks, cashews and mixed nuts. Due to testing today the Halloween door decorating contest deadline will be extended to Friday - you still have time to participate.
The photos for the graduation slide show are due by Wed. Nov. 26. Please turn in one senior photo and one childhood photo to Mrs. Hill (B250). Please write your name on the back of the photos.
