I am extremely proud of our students and staff! These scores only reiterate what we already know about our schools. There are great things happening in our district! Congratulations to all of our teachers for providing top notch instruction to our students.
Howards Grove High School educates approximately 270 students in grades 9-12. We are located in Sheboygan County in the Village of Howards Grove just minutes from Lake Michigan. Our students can participate in a wide variety of academic, athletic and co-curricular opportunities at HGHS. We offer college level credit opportunities for our students through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and several CAPP credit courses articulated with Lakeland College and UW-Oshkosh. In addition we offer career opportunities through our work experience programs at HGHS that include the Youth Apprenticeship Program with Lakeshore Technology College, and our Career Internship Program. High School Trap Team
Howards Grove High School has been approved to join the Wisconson Clay Target League. The league is open to all 6th-12th graders. All students will need to sign the Athletic Code and complete Hunter Safety. There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, Feb 28 at 6pm in the High School Library. If interested please sign up in the Office and take a parents letter home.
HG Rod and Gun Club
The Howards Grove Rod and Gun Club has openings in its 2017 Hunter’s Education class in April. Classes are going to be held on April 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th,18th, 20th with a field day on the 22nd at N9548 Meadowlark Road, Cleveland, WI.
Registration can be completed and more information can be found in the Safety Education area on the DNR’s website https://gowild.wi.gov/
Seasonal Lawn Cutting & Grounds Maintenance for Howards Grove School District
Part-time, seasonal position. Main duty will be lawn maintenance and related work as required. Hours will vary, up to 25 hours weekly including some possible weekends (depending on weather). Position to begin mid-April and end October 31st, 2017. Must be 18 years old to apply. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and ability to operate lawn equipment safely and efficiently required. There will be a player/parent meeting for all who are interested in playing Softball. A parent must attend. The meeting will be on Wednesday March 1 at 6pm in Mr Heier's room. If you are unable to attend please see Mr Heier.
Pause for a Cause Run/Walk
Students who have volunteered to help with the 5K Run for Pause for a Cause - there will be a short meeting Friday during Advisement in Mrs. Steinhaus' room.
Girls Soccer Players
All Girls Soccer players please stop in the Office to pickup up a form that needs to be filled out before the parents meeting this Sunday Feb 26.
Pause for A Cause - Kids Tiger Run
Students helping with the Kids Tiger Run for Pause for A Cause should come to Mrs Kneser's room Friday during Advisement for a short meeting.

Pause for a Cause t-shirts for sale
Orders are now being taken for Pause for a Cause t-shirts. The cost is $10 and order forms are available in the High School Office. Checks should be made payable to Howards Grove High School. If you plan to participate in the 5K walk/run, a t-shirt is included in the registration fee.
Pause for a Cause 5K Run/Walk will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 4:30pm at the Howards Grove High School. Fee is $20 which includes a Pause for a Cause t-shirt with a special 5K back print. Deadline to sign up at the High School is March 2.
