Howards Grove High School educates approximately 270 students in grades 9-12. We are located in Sheboygan County in the Village of Howards Grove just minutes from Lake Michigan. Our students can participate in a wide variety of academic, athletic and co-curricular opportunities at HGHS. We offer college level credit opportunities for our students through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and several CAPP credit courses articulated with Lakeland College and UW-Oshkosh. In addition we offer career opportunities through our work experience programs at HGHS that include the Youth Apprenticeship Program with Lakeshore Technology College, and our Career Internship Program. If you are interested in any further information on our school or the programs that we offer, please contact our High School Office at 920-565-4450.
We had two groups of wrestlers at 2 different tournaments Saturday. In Plymouth both Ben Meiselwitz (3 pins) and Kurt Theobald (2 pins) went 3-0 on the day enroute to winning championships at the Plymouth Invite.
At the Papermaker Invitational Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah finished in 9th place in the 16 team invite. Matt Schorrer finished 4th at 220 pounds, falling to Sun Prarie's Sam Presser by pin in the semi-final and losing to Ashwaubenon's Tyler McVane in the 3rd place match by an 11-4 decision.
