School Lunch 2016-2017
Welcome back to a new school year. Attached you will find the application for free/reduced price meals in accordance with the USDA regulations pertaining to the National School Lunch Program. A new application is needed for each school year. Please submit early so benefits can be in place before the new school year starts. If you have received a notice regarding Direct Certification you do not need to fill out an application for lunch benefits. Please note that milk ONLY with a lunch brought from home is not included in this benefit. Fee waiver forms are separate from free/reduced price meals. A fee waiver form can be found on the schools website.
Three payment methods are available. On-line through E-funds, by Food Service envelope and by utilizing the printable website form. Fill out the forms completely to ensure your payment is credited to the correct account. School office personnel do not process these payments. They simply forward them to the Food Service Department. According to District policy a cheese sandwich is offered to children who do not have funds available in the Food Service Account. Menus for each school are posted on the school website. Purchases and payments can be seen through the Food Service Tab in Family Access.
New for 5th Graders: Additional snack items are available at the Middle School during the lunch period. These ala carte items are purchased using your lunch card. The cost is deducted from the lunch account. Cash will not be accepted in the lunch line. K- 5 $2.40 Daily $12.00 Weekly
6-8 $2.55 Daily $12.75 Weekly
9-12 $2.65 Daily $13.25 Weekly
Reduced $0.40 Daily $2.00 Weekly
Milk only $0.30 Daily $1.50 Weekly
Adult $3.65 Daily $18.25 Weekly
