At the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, February 15, 2021, the School Board voted to have the Howards Grove High School return to 5 days of instruction per week starting on March 1st.   The hybrid model will be discontinued and all high school students should report to school on Monday, March 1st. 


There is still a full virtual option available for all students in all three buildings; however, we strongly urge families to consider sending your child(ren) to school.  The virtual option should only be used as an option for those families with medical issues or those who chose the full third quarter virtual option.  The virtual option is not available for intermittent attendance or vacations.  The virtual option will also be used when a student or classroom needs to be in quarantine due to COVID-19. 


Also, beginning the week of March 1st, through April 1st, all Wednesdays will be half days.  Dismissal will be after all students have had an opportunity to eat lunch.  Dismissal times for all students will be as follows:

Northview Dismissal: 1:15 pm                       March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

Middle School Dismissal: 12:15 pm              March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

High School Dismissal: 12:15 pm                   March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th


Since we are continuing to provide a virtual option, this additional time on Wednesdays will be used by teachers to plan and prepare instruction for our virtual students.
